27 April 2022

As one of 24 participating project members of the European Cluster for Securing Critical Infrastructures (ECSCI), IMPETUS joined the second ECSCI Virtual Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection on Wednesday, the 27th of April 2022, in a virtual conference room. This workshop covered all areas of both cyber and physical security in a range of industries, including industrial sections (e.g. energy, transport, health, sanitation, financial and telecommunications). It brought together policy makers, industry and academic members, practitioners, and representatives from the European Commission to present and discuss their novel techniques in security modelling, IoT security, AI, information sharing and security detection and mitigation techniques.

Joe Gorman (IMPETUS Project leader, SINTEF Digital) presented key results of the IMPETUS Project: how IMPETUS can impact critical infrastructure protection through its integrated tools; the practitioners’ guidelines and training materials; and, how IMPETUS can help policy-makers and current and future users of the platform.
