The IMPETUS project started with a bang by holding an all-digital kick-off meeting from the 1st to 3rd of September 2020. The IMPETUS project coordinator, Joe Gorman led the meeting, which was also attended by the European Commission Project Officer, Christoph Castex and over 70 participants from the project consortium.
Most of the participants had never met before, so the numerous different technical and partner sessions helped us all to get to know each other better.
Leaders of the various work packages making up the project described how each of these contribute to the project’s overall goals.
Representatives of two pilot cities - Padova and Oslo - presented their ideas and plans for on-street trials.
Industry partners demonstrated the tools that they are going to adapt and integrate into the IMPETUS solution.
The three full days provided lots of opportunities for project partners to initiate collaboration and exchange views with each other. Everyone was exhausted by the end – but at the same time keen to start work in this exciting project!
